What does Licensed Professional Counselor mean?

A Licensed Professional Counselor has obtained a Master's Degree from an Accredited University in the field of Mental Health Counseling, has had more than 3000 clock hours of supervision with an LPC Supervisor, passed a National Counselor Exam, and has been approved by a state licensing board to provide counseling services.

How much does each session cost?

​

For Individual Sessions we offer a sliding fee scale, which means that the cost for an individual session varies depending on your ability to pay and ranges from $50 to $85.

Group Sessions are generally $50; however, this cost may vary depending upon the length, time, and frequency of sessions. 

​

How long does therapy take?

​

The number of therapy sessions varies widely according to the needs of the individual.  Some people see improvement after just two or three sessions; however, for others it could take considerably longer.

Can anyone benefit from counseling?

​

Yes, whereas not everyone needs counseling, generally anyone can benefit from the counseling process.
